The town of Shepherdstown will hold the second annual Constitution Day Parade.
Start: Church & German St; end at King St at Town Hall.
Come and be in it or line the streets to watch. The Constitution will be walked back & forth down German Street and up to Town Hall on King Street where it will be read and commented on.
The American Constitution was signed by delegates to the Constitution Convention in Philadelphia on September 17, 1787. The U.S. Congress designated September 17 as Constitution Day, and in 2004, the holiday was modified with the passage of an amendment by West Virginia Senator Robert C. Byrd.
