Democratic statewide candidates for office will host a press conference in Shepherdstown about new transmission lines planned for West Virginia (the Valley North Project and the Mid-Atlantic Resiliency Link).

The event is part of a caravan consisting of a series of press conferences across West Virginia to oppose new transmission lines. At each stop, candidates will hold a press conference and open the floor to residents who want to share how the project affects them.
