SUMMARY:The 31st Annual Jefferson County African American Culture & Heritage Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual AACHF festival is a whole weekend event\, but the welcoming parade starts at noon on Saturday August 16h. The parade takes place in downtown Charles Town. \nThe Jefferson County Democrats will be marching in the parade and we will meet up at the Ranson Community Center where the parade will be organized. Try to be there by 11:00 am. We will be number 14 in the lineup\, so ask an organizer if you can’t find us. \nYou can sign up for the parade by clicking on this link. Or you can just show up and look for us. \nFollowing the parade the festival continues at the Star Lodge #1 at 218 S. Lawrence St. in Charles Town.
