Republicans Want to Disown the Data Center Monster They Created

There's non-partisan politics and there's partisan politics. How do you decide whether legislation results from one or the other? Troy Miller levels an argument at Republicans, who want to claim that data centers should be a non-partisan issue, because nobody here wants them. But there's the reality that it is exactly Republican legislators who are roughly 100% responsible for why data centers are a looming reality.

A One-Man Town Hall

There was an an opportunity in Jefferson County on July 15 to hear the two candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives talk about their stances on issues affecting our community--data centers for one. One of the candidates showed, the other did not. The one who did show, Ace Parsi, laid out his positions on the issues aired at this one-man forum and he came across as not only well informed, but respectful and sympathetic. Ace is a Democrat. Riley Moore, his opponent, is a no-show.

The Threat of Data Centers

It's becoming more and more evident that data centers bring with them threats to local environments and increased costs to residents.
