Governor Patrick Morrisey of West Virginia capitulated to Presidents Trump’s politically motivated request to send our state’s National Guard to DC to fight crime. They actually cleaned the streets. They were being seriously misused and, worse, taken from important work needed in West Virginia.
The County Commission has mandated a new Development Authority, but it has not made public what it’s selection criteria will be. Will those criteria create an Authority that will serve all the interests of this Jefferson County? It’s important we citizens know.
