There was an an opportunity in Jefferson County on July 15 to hear the two candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives talk about their stances on issues affecting our community--data centers for one. One of the candidates showed, the other did not. The one who did show, Ace Parsi, laid out his positions on the issues aired at this one-man forum and he came across as not only well informed, but respectful and sympathetic. Ace is a Democrat. Riley Moore, his opponent, is a no-show.
