The character of Jefferson County is importantly vested in its land and history and both are under threat. One such threat comes from the efforts of the Valley North Project, a proposed high tension line carrying electricity east from Putnam County, WV. Mike Chalmers interviewed some of these residents, who are majorly opposed to the project.
